So I finished my Warrior of Light cosplay in time for Connecticon. It was indeed a joyful experience and I had loads of fun talking to everyone at the con. I think cosplaying as the Warrior of Light really reminded me why I love to cosplay. I get to spend my weekend walking around as a male who has long beautiful white hair, holds a sword and shield and wears some pretty cool armor. Where else can you experience such a feeling?It was fun to get away from reality and play the part of a beautiful male knight. It really is a magical feeling.
It took about a month or so to make the costume. Lots of hard work, blood and sweat hunched over on my carpet with hot glue guns, super glue and needles for sewing. My body hates me for making this but I am so happy I did.
The costume is about 90% done. It's missing a few pieces to it which I will finish up in time for Otakon 2010. I can't wait to wear this costume again. I had so much fun. It's been awhile since I have worn something close to this. Good times.

I saw you and the Cecil cosplayer at CT-Con. I would have taken a pic of you two but I left my camera behind at someone's house. I'm still kicking myself for that. There were a lot of great cosplays, including yours!

Thank you! It was a ton of fun this year. I hope you at least had fun too. I think the only thing that could of made it more fun this year is if the saturday didn't rain. Other than that, it was great memories. Maybe I will catch you at some future cons? I am going to Otakon and AAC.

Unfortunately I won't be going to any more cons for another year. I will hopefully go to Ctcon next year

I am going to san Diego comicon next year tho. I am really excited for it. I was going to go this year but the tickets sold out way too fast. I didn't know you had to get them so soon. So now I am going to grab them right when I have a chance.

i know! It was hard to find practically anyone cosplaying from final fantasy dissidia. But there was one awesome final fantasy shoot at Connecticon. Everyone looked great.

lol yup I am back. For the rest of the summer I can now relax and work on side projects. I am happy to be able to enjoy the rest of this summer before i go back to school to finish up my senior year.
We would have a photo of both of us together in costume that looks really good but the photos were either taken of me by michela or of michela by me. lol For Otakon I am sure we can get someone to take some photos of us together.
