Description Professsor McGonagall has always interested me - sounds like she has a story, or several, behind her. And remember, in OOTP, she told Peeves that the chandelier 'unscrewed the other way'? ...How did she know? Hmmm? So I used my slightly frightening knowlegde of the books and my overactive imagination to figure out what she was like as a teenager. Oh, and I like to think that she was called 'Minnie'. I mean, what normal kid actually wants to be called 'Minerva'? Anyway. Yes, the young one is holding a biscuit. Prof. McG (c) JKR

There's nothing wrong with wanting to be called Minerva I guess, I just think that it's a kinna intimidating name. A lot to live up to. Minnie works better for the teenager, Minerva for the adult. Once she's seen something of the world, gotten wise etc.

Minerva was the Roman goddess of wisdom, weaving and justice. She was invented by the ancient Greeks, but they knew her as Athena.

I have scary knowledge of more than HP, you know.

How have I managed to get into three different pointless conversations with you, at one time, at different areas of DA? You're one of the few people I know who can ramble on as much as I can. it's a good thing.

I would totally change my name to Minnie, but I think I'd get called 'Mouse'.
I do have scary knowledge of other stuff. Random Canadian history, algebra (at which I rock *nerd*) shakesperian... wait that's fiction, ummm okay, yeah outside of school, my only real knowledge is of fiction and music. Happy?
