Well, finally done with this one. Thanks to everyone that followed the WIP. This was drawn as a commission. My buddy asked me to draw this for his dad, Steve. Steve's attachment to this car is that he built it from scratch and just recently took it for a spin for the very first time. He's been working on this car for a couple of years now. It's absolutely gorgeous in person...light blue, flawless. The year of the car is '66. My buddy is giving this to his dad as a birthday gift.The only thing I wished I had done differently on this drawing is I wish I had left room for a dark shadow underneath the car. There isn't enough room for it on the left side of the drawing though. It would look wierd if I tried to add one.

This is amazing! I've got a 69' Chevelle myself and am in the same position as your friend. Built from scratch.
You should really develop some sort of tutorials on how you draw with such detail. Those rims look real, How did you make them look so metallic with pencils?

Man you really created an awesome texture in this car, the reflections are great and so are the opaque parts...
My favourite part is the reflections on the left side. Such a mirroring effect!

You know, I expected better from you....
Just had to break up your little praise-fest.
What I'd do about the shadow is just some light shading from the tires and undercarriage. The shadow there doesn't have to reflect the shape of the whole car, even squiggly lines work. However, adding shadow alters the entire impact of the drawing, sooo...
Anyway, this is just spenduferious. But you don't need me to tell you how awesome you are

[is it just me, or do the tires look out of place? I mean, nothing to do with the drawing, but the tires look too new for the car...or something.]

I see what you mean about the shadow. It would've given the image a permanence that it otherwise doesn't have.
But it's a relatively small detail that doesn't detract from the beauty of this render.
When you do inanimate objects, your skill shines. I don't want that to sound in any way like a slander against what you do. But you bring to life what otherwise would be pretty uninteresting and inanimate.
