I am actually impressed you found boots that look like that; did you make those actually?

I bought a pair of boots, took out the seams, traced the pieces to blue vinyl, and sewed them back together.
I can also copy them completely if I make molds of the soles.Β I can also stylize the new soles, things like beefing up the treads or adding an "FF" logo, by adding clay/putty (temp) to the originals before making the new molds.

This is amazing! I have one question though. Why did you choose to make the bones yourself, instead of buying a fake resin skeleton, like for a science class?

1.) Cost.
2.) The med models were all male (it makes a big difference), and the height adjustments would have either been a nightmare, or just impossible.
3.) Not all of the bones were made by me.Β The pelvis is a med-model (the previous didn't have a good reference, and Bondo filler putty is a BAD sculpting material)
In the future I will be using clay prototypes to cast the finals in wood/metal-reinforced resin.

She's coming along nicely. Now you're giving her boots.

She's so beautiful and she looks so fluffy. I'd pay to give her a hug.

I looked at this and thought "This must have taken a lot of hard work, skill, and perseverance"
I looked at the old link and thought "this will haunt my nightmares"
