Perhaps one of the most famous people to live on the Isle of Skye in recent times. Sadly Tom now lives on the mainland due to health reasons. I was lucky to meet him a few times. What a great gentleman he is. Considering he was in the Guinness Book of Records as the most tattooed man at one point, Tom is a shy and humble man. Their is an old photographers adage that when you take a portrait you take a layer of skin from the person. Well this skin is very leopard printed! I am yet to visit Loch na Beast, the area where "Tom the Leopard Man" lived his reclusive life. Something to put on the to do list. I always feel cheeky asking someone for a portrait, so a big thanks to Tom for treating my request in good humour.I hope I have caught something of the man, not just his tattoos.
