20,000 views kiriban forI have three apologies. One, that it took so long to get this posted. And two, that I accidentally chopped off the light on that tallest tower when I was doing my "Aw, SLAG, I hafta chop this in order to get it to fit into the scanner!" cropping. And three, for Megatron's dork-head. He is most displeased with me for drawing him squashed like a pug-dog. There is much fail in this picture; but I did enjoy making it. Idea for doing a cityscape comes from watching the epicness of my pal *masterofall
And I suppose I should also apologize for the following...
I am a silly Prime; and with my twisted brain I imagine a conversation that goes something like this:
M: Yo Shocky. How's it hangin'?
S: Same as always...
M: Boring old slagger. Us real mechs get piercings.
I find this hilarious. Please forgive!
I've recognized =NiGhT-sTaLkEr13 for a long time, but hadn't really looked through his gallery until he got this kiriban. And at first I was scarred for life. Imaginary Megatron was huddled in a corner so traumatized that I didn't even have the heart to tease him. (That has NEVER happened before!) But that being said, I really get along with the guy. He's awesome. And hey, I also have my own imaginary world that twigs out some people. So I throw no stones. (And for the record, whether for good or ill, Ol' Megs has gotten over his trauma, and now lords it over Me-Prime like, "Yeah, you know who's the REAL mech around here. No one would EVER draw YOU with a wang!" And what's worse is, he's right. So I hafta punch him a bit.)
Anyway, here's your kiriban, sir, and I wish you well. Forgive me my insensitivities?
Shockwave and Megatron belong to Hasbro. But there are a few of us crazy fans who find the actual application of that statement to be fairly ludicrous at this point...

I was sitting here thinking someone's been looking at too many renders and BINGO! there's your confession!
The colours are adorable, especially the blue swirls in the sky - they remind me of nebulae
and don't worry about getting reference images of robots from the back - only about 24 people have ever seen one anyway, everyone else is just guessing

This is very neat. People don't seem to draw TF's from the back very much...well at least not full-figure. And the cityscape is very neat. I like how non-Euclidean it is.

I'm sorta obsessed with unusual views of them. It's actually hard to even find reference for their backs!
And yes, designing those buildings was a lot of fun. Along with Masterofall, I was also inspired by [link] (It's GORGEOUS.) I can't yet create anything that beautiful, but I can at least be "non-Euclidean"!

For the picture itself, you're totally bashing yourself for nothing. It's fantastic! And not to mention all around adorable. I could see that conversation happening, too. XD I love the city scene, but what I love most is that comforting hand on Shockwave's shoulder. It's just so soft and makes the viewer know that Megatron has compassion for the mech. Love it to pieces, and thank you so much for this!

And yes, I also love 'soft' moments. Megs is a lot more fun when people let him have more levels than Smash-n-Leer. He'll just never admit to them in public.
