*Updated* - some recent re-editing of the colouring and background has taken place to increase contrast.A bit of Games Workshop (in this case WH40K) fan art here.
A Goff clan Ork and an Eldar Banshee of the UlthwΓ© craftworld (without her helmet, I wanted to have a bit of fun with the face and make-up) face-off on the battlefield. Sometimes it's good to get personal before hacking and shooting your adversary to a bloody pulp.
I imagine the rather short conversation goes like this:
Ork: C'mon then ya skinny freak o' nature, let's be 'aving ya...I 'aint got all day.
Eldar: Very well weak-minded brute, I shall give to you the oblivion you so eagerly seek.
This is a digitally coloured pencil drawing. It was created using a 2B mechanical pencil on Bristol board, then digitally coloured in PS.

I also really like this one! I played Eldar, Partner played Chaos and Orcs and was always beating me Β ( like I said was terrible at the game!) seeing them painted like this sort of makes them more well---personalized and different! it is really nice to see them like this!

Thanks a lot! I enjoyed doing this piece as it gave the characters more life. I keep hearing from people that Eldar aren't that great on the battlefield, but they do look cool, so keep wanting to draw them...Harlequins would look cool. Β I'm also a big fan of the greenskins too...must do more artwork with those guys soon...injecting humour into Ork pieces is quite easy to do.

Thanks!...it took a lot of scouring of Eldar codex books to use runes as seen on the Eldar...I was going to do the whole sword but it would have probably been too messy.

I like the fact you've picked up on that - I love Heavy Metal and I'm a huge fan of 2000AD too (Bisley, Walker etc), I'm not really into the modern comic book look, I much prefer the late 80's, early 90's look but then I'm showing my age!
