So that's what's under the bandages. I guess a scarab makes sense. She is a mummy. I'm just left wondering if it's real or not. XD
Thanks, Steve. I'm glad that you like Cleo enough to draw this. It's really great. I feel highly honored that you went to the trouble of making this.
This makes me think--Does The Spook need a mouth? It really works when you pull it off.

You mean Spook doesn't have a mouth??
I thought he did, for some reason. My addiction was to show emphatic emotion, which wouldn't have been as evident without the mouth. I guess I figured you never drew a mouth because he wasn't saying anything. In animation he would need a mouth or it might get hairy understanding the character well enough.
Last night when I finished I was contemplating if the scarab was real or not, and if real what IS IT DOING TO HER THERE?!? I just wanted a cheap joke, like it is her underwear, or a censor sign.

Yeah, I should play with the idea of giving The Spook a mouth. Yeah! I like the scarab. *laughs* Mind if I use that for future reference?

Nope, go for it.
Now that I go back and look; he doesn't have any mouth ever. It isn't bad if he is silent, or if you can pantomime him well enough in any art you do with him. haha I still swear he has all the lewd qualities of a full condom - white, the shape, the tip hat, one eye, masculine, angryish/aggressive.
It's a good subliminal tag, that I brought out into the uber-bliminal.

He can talk. I never could make a mouth work on him. The Spook has two eyes.

Actually, he's not an angry guy. I wanted him to be somewhat nice. But he is what I would call persistant.

The mouth I draw is just a typical cartoony thing that floats all over the form.

I'm just saying becaus it would help with expressions. Lately, I just have trouble getting characters to look right. :/

I can't get certain characters to look right for this project.

That's a shame. Have you been trying to get influence from any outside sources?

By taking styles or techniques from other artists and their works.

That usually helps in developing my style, I guess. But I haven't seen anything remotely interesting enough.
