Nice to see Hakon in a more violent light. I think it's telling you chose this rune of Thursiaz because not only is Hakon (usually) very instinctual and sexual, but now, we see how that can be channeled into a destructive force (instead of the usual humour he has). Even the words you've quoted from him here seem very direct and strikes fear into the reading/hearer, whereas usually, you've portrayed him as a more humorous type who just drinks and womanizes.
I like how you did the lighting here. The lighting behind him makes him stand out more.

You're very welcome! Random question that just popped into my head: since Hakon and Yngvar are in so many ways opposite of each other, and since like I said before, Yngvar has a distaste for the carnal as we saw in the short story, would he have remained a virgin if it wasn't for that particular incident with Vesna? I would be inclined to think so (or did Hakon sometimes succeed in getting him to go to the brothels and such).

Definitely psycho for a virgin XD in the same vein, how does Aidan, if he does, lose his virginity? Or is that too much of a spoiler?
Glad that my question made you think! Though it was a pretty random one...

Ah, I see. That makes sense, either way. He's very indifferent about these kind of things...
Is it with Rannveig? XD
