Coronodon was a mysticete, that is, a baleen whale, but instead it had teeth, unlike its modern relatives. The shape of the teeth suggest it could hunt large prey and sieve smaller animals all the same, pretty much like today's leopard seal that eats penguins and other seals, but filters krill as well. It lived 30 million years ago and was pretty large, with a skull almost one meter long.

How do Leopard seals filter feed?

Suck the water with the prey, then expel the water through the spaces between the teeth while retaining the krill inside.

Leopard seal teeth (especially the premolars/carnassials) are trident-shaped and overlap to a certain extent, much like baleen

Another one of the lesser known prehistoric animals that I've seen you draw.  You are quite the investigator of prehistoric animals.  This is one of the reasons you are on my watch list.
