Description
The camera catches what we all can see
But you and I see things differently
A picture is in shades of grey
Black mixed with white in a subtle way
A happy face is smiling bold
Upside down its frown is cold
A pretty face looking prettier now
To you, it may look a hateful cow
Our moods play hell on our outlook
And right now my brain's half-cooked
I can picture this and of course that
I can picture us and your bowler hat
Must've been something I've misplaced
Not a shoe unbuckled, it's just unlaced
Words are of no use when a picture will suffice
A overhead view if not always precise
Here again I must stop to say
That I really shouldn't have been writing this anyway
But a pretty face is a pretty face
Too bad it's yours I can't erase?
