[This artwork is for the It's the thought that matter prompt of this month!]

What a way she had come, the amount of adventures she lived. She learned how rough the world could be by the hard way, she lost hope and learned to gain it back again and even tho she thought at the time maybe fate was being unfair to her, those experiences made her better, kinder and, overall, stronger. She was happy.
And she cared the most about the happiness of those around her, Ime and Cepheus, the two brothers were so nice to her, it was crazy how much of a life-saver they were for her. In the snow when she lost her parents they were literally the boat that took her to a good shore. And then, bring already grown up, the thought of coming back to them was what gave Ruh her strenght back after that awful monster attacked her. That time it really felt like the end.
Wandering on her own thoughts, little Ruh trotted down a path she did knew but didn't remember until she found a bush full of berries, the berries she loved when she was a little small baby. Back when she was with her parents! Suddenly she was so emotional, oh she had to show her herd those berries, they would LOVE them! So she ate a few berries and then chopped down a little branch full of red, round, sweet berries and trotted back the road to her pack. Couldn't wait to see if Ime and Cephy liked her favorite food!

I really didn't want how to focus this one, I really wanted to do this drawing whether or not it counts for the monthly prompts or not. I wanted to do some kind of a mix between Love Yourself and It's the Thought That Matters but at the end of the day, since the actual subjet of the drawing is Ruh taking a gift for her friends I decided It's the Thought that Matters was more fitting for it! I also was super excited to come back to this drawing, as it's some kind of "redraw" of the first drawing I did of Ruh for this ARPG , it got me so emotional to try to recreate the same scenario and seeing again little Ruh being so small she only could carry one (1) berry at the time was so heartwarming ahhh
I wanted to represent how far away the events on Ruh's story look like now, when she was a baby was literally years ago on her storyline and she barely remember it but she does remember the berries and how sweet they taste, and when she sees them, her first thought is "heck my friends have to try this they're gonna LOVE it" so she decides to just take it with her all the way back, they're the first thing that pops in her brain when she thinks of stuff she enjoys so I guess it fits the "gifting something special to someone special" thing even tho it ain't really in a romantic way! At least yet
