Again, she felt the veil of quiet slip over her mind. Again, she did not fight it. In the hold of the First-Ascendant, -none- could resist such a link...and Virai was of a sort that would not, even if she wanted to. The veil was protection from the piercing minds of others; both a necessity and a haven. Her thoughts would never again be her's alone...but somehow, she felt them safer that way...Welp, finally braved drawing Alarak. Does it count if he's half naked? Yeah. It definitely counts. Dat face! 'swoons'
So what we have here is a moment not long after Virai's forced/not forced proving of loyalty to specifically Alarak and integration into Tal'darim society. With the discovery that Virai could not maintain a veil over her mind, Alarak wove one of his own, enabling his plans for her to remain hidden while maintaining her service by always being aware of her thoughts.

It's just intimacy here over actual sex, with some minor mind control thrown in for flavor.
I -think- they have genitals though? I dunno. I see most fanart going in the direction of crotch to crotch, so fans have probably just decided since Blizzard hasn't provided that information.

Well Blizz indirectly confirmed through Zeratul in HotS that male protoss have a... phylar... which they can grab with their opposable thumbs... make of that what you will, but since protoss are male and female, i believe we can safely assume they reproduce sexually. Whether their genitals are the same as human ones dunno( i like to assume so since i tend to love cross species ships in starcraft), but the more interesting side is why do female protoss have breasts( small to non-existent, but they still do) if protoss have no mouths. Also, Zeratul had nipples so protoss probably have nipples too. They did not look like they had the pointy part and looked more like a flat dark round piece of skin. I assume females produce some mind of milk-like substance which gets fed to offspring through skin perhaps... protoss are known to derive nutrients from starlight and skin absorption so that would make sense in a way...
