Two pieces of the same whole watched one another in silence; one victorious, the other long since lost. One soul has the strength to pull the other from the grip of oblivion...but do they take the first step? Or is it their fate to keep falling?

Four years. Foooour fuckin' -long- years since I've had these two kicking around my mind actively! It's like looking back in time for me, except now I've got the experience to properly communicate their story. So...maaaybe I will. If I had to pick any of the many stories I want to tell, this one is probably on the top of the pile, even if it is another fanfic over something "original".

For those of you who don't have a clue what I'm talking about, these two are Lyani and Erol respectively. Both characters set in the universe of the Jak & Daxter series, the first is an OC and the other is Canon. To go into their dynamic here would take far too long; the nine years I've spent developing their tale makes it somewhat hard to summarize. Long story short? They have some -serious- history.

Proud to say that I only used -one- base for this. Erol's pose is entirely from scratch! 'shimmies' For some reason twisted cyborg anatomy was easier than plain humanoid.
