I like the idea of Mufasa having to win Sarabi's heart (not from Scar, but from Sarabi.), it gives them a better emotional base for the love that they had for each other in the movie. Rather than to think that Sarabi married him simply due to tradition.

Interesting! I think Scar wasn't interested in any females. Even Zira seemed like some obsessed lioness following Scar around, also the other lionesses on Scar's side. Disney even said that Scar didn't have any cubs, so Nuka isn't Scar's son either.
