Lord of the Rings of the Flies is both a very fun and excellently rendered work that conjures up feelings of selfish soul-food-esque art and a charming familiarity that is just sinful. The artist does a great job a setting the mood for a piece that most would not be able to take seriously for the characters involved, but alas the gravity of the situation is soul shuddering.

There is a lot to love about the work, it is both visually captivating and intriguing. The hero, or victim in the fly is a real peculiar and brilliant choice of subject matter as for meekness. To be set against the formidable arachnid in the back is just so endearing to the fly.

Overall the piece is rendered quite well and the artist does a brilliant job in capturing both mood and drama in this piece. The use of light and shade here is well done coinciding with the various brilliance of the flay and the unsettling rouge of the spider, you have here a great work.

A tad more detail would have been a appreciated, especially in the face of the spider, as the work above the fangs seem heavy and adding a bit of detail to lighten that area up would have been great.

Lord of the Rings of the Flies leaves very little to be desired as it is both visually and technique wise solid.

Wow this looks stunning! The spider looks really scary and I love the way you put the light source right in the middle. I think it makes the picture look really dynamic and interesting.

This is epic! I absolutely love the idea and the execution! The texture of the rock and the shadows cast by them following the single bright light source are great!
