Lecture got cancelled this morning so I've spent the whole day drawing! This young lady comes from an art challenge I did a few days ago - the aim was to sketch a headshot with a time limit of only ten minutes and I'm pretty pleased with the result! I didn't think I was all that fast at drawing, but I actually had a minute or two to spare after I'd finished, which was nice. You can see the original sketch here: www.facebook.com/JammyScribble…Not a new character or anything, I literally just improvised as I went along and ended up with this lovely girlie - I've recently discovered that drawing crazy floppy flowy hairstyles is the best thing ever so I decided to go to town with that :> I doubt I'll ever use her for anything, but her name is Annie and she has Neapolitan ice-cream hair (not natural, of course) - you're welcome to come up with some backstory info/outfits if you like, as long as I get to hear them/see them!
More art will be appearing soon, I've had a bit of a creative surge so lots of stuff will be completed in the next few days! <3

Isn't she just? She literally came out of nowhere, I've no idea what compelled me to draw the softhawk but it was really satisfying to see that sense of motion that comes from the coloured stripes. Also no idea where the ice cream thing came from, I think I've just been working with too much pastel colour recently :'D

Is it bad that I got a strong craving for Neapolitan ice cream as soon as I saw this? I didn't even read the description yet and I already knew it was neapolitan ice cream. :'D

I have no idea what possessed me to do ice-cream hair - initially I'd wanted to have two really bold contrasting colours, but after half an hour of slapping random colour combinations on her I gave up
