Definitely didn't listen to the McFly song on repeat while drawing thisNot sure if I should call this fanart (?) but it was heavily inspired by the Stargirl designs by Skelefrog and her gorgeous artwork in general so I guess this is kind of an homage than anything <3 I'm not really one for having 'art idols' like some people do, but her art and her quirky character designs always makes me so happy, and there's something in the way she uses colours and shapes I can't quite identify that I just adore and would love to be able to incorporate into my own art, if I ever figure out what it is.
Did this on Thursday when my one lecture was cancelled so I basically had the day off and was doodling random pretty things all afternoon :> Didn't take me very long at all, just had lots of fun playing with the colours and the sparkles <3 Also got a few others things drawn out, and finally got some ideas for new print designs which I can hopefully order soon!

Aww I'm so glad it had the right effect! Thanks very much! This piece wasn't particularly meant to be comical, but I'm glad you like it anyway! I don't even know if I have a 'style' though, and if I do, I don't really know what defines it - that's something I've been trying to work on a lot recently :>
