Description
Daria returns in her appearance in my Alpha and Omega series. She is reimagined as a fellow Guardian and one of Humphrey's closest friends. Just like in Alpha and Omega 4, she is blind but doesn't let that hold her back, as she is a fully trained Guardian and really protective of her pack.

Here's the story

Humphrey was just reunited with his brother, Ash, when he was greeted by excited Guardians, all awaiting his return.

Humphrey - I'm so happy to see so many survived!
Ash: This is not all from our pack, this is also from the other packs... Sam attacked us all! This is who managed to survive!
Humphrey: What did we do to piss Sam off?
Ash: Don't know but we need to find another hiding place, Sam's getting closer to finding this one
Humphrey: I'm not leaving!
Ash: Why?!
Humphrey: I'm not leaving without my mate!
Ash: Where is she?
Humphrey: Last I saw her, she was being hypnotized by Sam
Ash: Then she's gone... Sam usually kills all Omegas
Humphrey: She's an Alpha!
Ash: What? An Alpha?
Humphrey: Yeah... is there a way to save her?
Ash: There might be... but we need to be careful though, Sam has a lot of Alphas under his control... this requires a good friend...
Daria: Hello Humphrey!

Humphrey turned to see Daria walking to him, still blind like she was back when they were pups. Humphrey smiled and ran to hug her.

Humphrey: It's so good to see you Daria! I miss you so much!
Daria: I missed you too and I couldn't help but overhear what was being said... your Alpha mate was being hypnotized by Sam?
Humphrey: Yeah, but what can you do?
Daria: I can free her from Sam's spell
Ash: Hopefully he doesn't trigger her?

Then more wolves came in, as Humphrey recognized them from his pack, as he saw Salty, Shakey, and Mooch were among them.

Humphrey: Guys, you're here!
Salty: Humphrey!

They all ran towards each other, ending with a massive hug. Ash smiled as he saw how happy Humphrey was.

Shakey: We thought we were going to die but we were rescued!
Humphrey: I'm glad you're here, we should be safe with my pack!
Mooch: Those wolves who rescued us? They're Guardians right?

Humphrey was about to speak when he saw his old close friend, Kiara walk in with Lilly and Garth behind her.

Kiara: Don't worry, you're all safe! We're Guardians!
Humphrey: Diamond?

Kiara heard her nickname as she looked to see Humphrey staring at her.

Kiara: Huffy!
Humphrey: Diamond, I'm glad you're alive!

Humphrey and Kiara hugged each other, as they were really close back in the day. Ash smiled and walked up.

Ash: Good work Kiara, I see you rescued some of Humphrey's pack!
Kiara: I tried to get everyone out, but Sam's followers began rounding everyone up... I couldn't get the pack leaders!
Ash: We'll find a way to free them...
Kiara: I should let you know, Sam has a new follower... she was helping separate the Alphas from the Omegas. So either she just joined or Sam brainwashed her?
Humphrey: What did she look like?
Kiara: I know she was an Alpha, she had golden tan fur, much like Eve, but her eyes were red.
Humphrey: Kate...
Kiara: Who's Kate?
Ash: She's Humphrey's mate, she was apparently being Hypnotized when Humphrey was captured. But hearing this, our fears have come true, Sam brainwashed her and turned her into one of his followers.
Daria: I can try and free her...
Ash: We could rescue her, but our main fear is that Sam triggered her...
Kiara: Knowing Sam, he would do that so he can continue having control over anyone he wants!
Humphrey: I can't leave her like that, we have to rescue her!
Kiara: And we will... I will make sure of it, Huffy!
Humphrey: Thanks Diamond, you're the best...
Ash: Kiara, take Butch and Daria with you, and rescue Kate without being detected by Sam
Kiara: Yes sir! Well, Huffy, I'm off to rescue your princess...

Humphrey smiled as Kiara left with Daria and Butch. All he could do now was wait for his beloved Kate to be rescued.
