I just can't stop looking at this. It's been weeks. There is nothing that I don't love about this painting and I think I can feel that you love this myth. Because of all that perfect detail. You understand Hades' overpowering gloom and darkness over Persephone since you've chosen to show us his expression and hide hers. But her loose clothes somehow don't indicate that she's afraid. There are flowers blooming and she's free and at peace there, close to the flourishing earth she's a mistress of. It feels like he's the one who's enchanted by her power, although it should be the other way around. And I so so love the half-gesture of his left hand and that you've left a mysterious element that allows everyone to interpret everything as they see it. I see his curiosity and a little bit of desire, and that slight sparkles you've added in his eyes are like this dark adoration he holds for her. I love everything about this painting, I'm serious haha Thanks so much for sharing this masterpiece!

Very pretty! I like the angle and the pre-eminence Hades has in this composition. Makes it appear as if Persephone is looking up at him adoringly.
Oh, and I also liked to see that you didn't forget how Hades' godly rod looks like, as many artists do.
