Description
Snouti was the other fakemon to make its debut in the September issue of Nintendo Force Magazine. It acts as the early region mammal of Keijo.
Based on Coatis (of which there were a lot when I visited Mexico) and old-fashioned detectives. Coative's design does allude to foxes and sniffer dogs but that wasn't intentional. Also, the thumbs up and Aha! hand gestures were the basis of the tails if that wasn't obvious enough.
I also realised now I have a detective and a police officer Pokémon catchable early game - which bodes well for 10 year old kids wandering around on their own I guess...

Ability: Frisk/Analytic
Name Meaning: Snout-Coati
Evolves: lvl 21
The cowlick on its tail sticks up to let other members of its troop know it is ok. It is highly inquisitive and investigates new objects with its nose.

Type: Normal
Ability: Frisk/Analytic
Name Meaning: Coati-Detective/Inquisitive
Once at home in the forest, their inquisitive nature has led them into cities. It's sensitive nose is always to the ground, sniffing out treats up to a mile away. It's tail sticks up when it has found something interesting.

Thank you! It was important for me to get the design right . I think he region mammal is one of the more popular additions each generation, and one of the first new Pokémon you see in-game, so it kind of has to set the standard.
