Description
Eider species #2 of the 3 that I photographed well in Barrow. This is an endangered eider that breeds in the far northern reaches of North America and Russia. I felt so honored to be close to a pair on several occasions. This male was just starting a nice morning wing-flap.Related content

It's all about proper camera settings to get the appropriate depth of field while maintaining enough shutter speed. Good equipment helps along that path too. Thanks for your interest!!
