Description
Katniss from the hunger games in her stunning interview dress. I have seen this one done so many times but no one ever did it in the excessive amount of jewels I imagined when explained in the book.After doing this I know why. I must have been crazy to want to hand paint that many jewels!
A5 took me 1/2 to draw and 3 days to paint. salt used for patten in back ground.
watercolour, salt and gold pencil.
I do like to hear what you think but just warning you, for every fault you can pick I can see a hundred more so please don't point out anything stupid I already know.

did the book really say that her hair had the red high-lights?

I think it was a ribbon braided in rather than red highlights but I have lent out my copy to someone so I cant check :/

I think this is the most acurate drawing of her outfit I've ever seen. I never understood why people didn't draw it the way it was described, but I now can see that drawing those would be quite the chore.

as everyone else said, the dress is fantastic! but take care of the head shape. she's a little flat on top. but other than that, i absolutely adore the picture. the dress is amazing, and the picture behind her is very well done.

yer I didn't want her to look happy but by the time i didn't like it that much it was to late to change it 
but over all i'm happy with it
