Here we have four beautiful jays--a green jay, a steller's jay, a blue jay, and....wait, what?!
It's a 24"x18" watercolor, which is twice the size of my prior biggest watercolor paintings, and it took three times as long to make. Go figure. I'm not too happy with the photo, so I might retake it later...if I only had a two-foot long scanner |D.
My inspiration here was Walton Ford, a really fantastic watercolor-animal artist. He's really awesome!

And I really like the steller's too, but I might be biased since Steller's are my favorite birds XD.

oh wait, I just reread your comment and I think you might have meant what species was the skull? XD ...if so, then just another blue jay, I think. I didn't have a specific type of jay in mind
