@ Guess I hadn't quite scratched my Wemic itch (cheers to for telling me that's what these cat-taurs are called!) with the last two pics so I decided to do another, and this time keep it suitable for all ages... - result? I turn the figure away from the viewer!

Great motion in her running pose here; it's so dynamic! That energy is also reflected beautifully in her hair and the tuft of her tail which are both stylized so well.

thanks a lot for the comment, chick!! I think the thing that's always bugged me about this is I manage to capture a nice energy and motion in the hair and feline parts, as you've commented, but the human body-parts never really reflected that energy or fused too well w/the pic... I've been toying with the idea of re-drawing this one.. but I doubt I'll ever find the time!

It's a tough call! The only suggestion I can think of to better translate that energy to her human half would be maybe to have her lean forward a bit. In full sprint, humans tend to lean forward into their runs, but I think that even that would alter the joyous, free-spirited mood of the piece.

yes I think that's pretty much what I was thinking... I didn't add the bird till after I'd drawn her, and when I looked back at her a few days later I thought she doesn't REALLY look like she's reaching for it at all... I get what you mean about altering the mood too.. I wouldn't want it to look like she was hunting the poor thing! LOL

I dunno.. I loves me some gallomps... I don't actually have any Centaur characters other than Moke or Crimson.. where as every gallomp feels like a character :3 .... they're certainly getting more fuss mind you!

Tried a few sketchs of a car-taur but doesn't seem to work at all. They just look too front heavy and unbalanced in a bad way
However it does somehow remind me of arts like this [link] that I found a while back. Not quite car taurs, but anthro machines can be fun.
