This was super fun to do!
This is a commission that *CodenameEternity ordered for ~xRae-Asakurax 's birthday, which is TODAY! Happy Birthday Chick! ^___^
This is her character Aeris, enjoying a quiet moment with Mark Chadbourn's "World's End" (Great urban-fantasy novel!) and more importantly, a bottle of Mint Baileys! ... Personally sounds like a pretty awesome way to celebrate a birthday to me!

I was telling Laura too that there's a character in Mark Chadbourn's age of misrule series that Aeris reminds me of. - You should give the series a look, I think you'd like it ^_^

I had to have a hot chocolate with Bailey's today because this made me crave it

The basic premis (from what I can remember) is in modern day london two strangers are drawn together to whitness a horiffic event under a bridge .. that then sets a series of events in motion that leads to 5 young people being united together as "The brothers and sisters of dragons" to begin a quest against the dark and mysterious forces that have been slowly creeping into our land... - before long society (as we know it) fails to exist as electricity, government, and other modern life aspects fall to this dark power.. and over the 3 books the characters meet some pretty weird and wonderful people/entities, as well as experience some amazing things, in order to try to put things right again.. - if you're into your modern fantasy I'd say it's well worth a look!
