This was one of my favorite, thriftiest shoots to date. The dress was $15 worth of fabric that I purchased, that we fashioned into a dress with Angelina's craftiness and staples. The ribbons were $2, and held in the background by Angelina and Chris who had to play a big game of cat's cradle. Megan was stunning, despite our setting being a messy, dusty, outdoor classroom with overturned chairs and pots galore.
The challenge was to see what could be accomplished on a budget of $20 and a concept. I hope you all liked the result!

Just love this shot! I think it's the luminscence of the skin, the way the ribbons in back and foreground seem to frame the and bring attention to her face and those gorgeous eyes! Wonderful shot!!

I like the way the depth of field is just shallow enough to throw the ribbons slightly out of focus so they still remain an integral part of the whole image but do not detract from the main focus; the models captivating expression.

I wanted to incorporate some chaotic ribbons in the background to match the ribbon corset we did on her arm. I'm glad you liked it! It was definitely tricky.
