I love the scale details and the overall anatomy. Very graceful and powerful.

OH, I love. ;o;
I'm drawing this one dude, but I'm having trouble drawing his feet.
I fail at dragon feet.
I was wondering if I could sort of reference these? REFERENCE, not trace. XD The angles are almost exactly like his, and there'll be tweaks so it won't be notable.

Oh nevermind. XD
That was a while ago and I didn't want to just do it without your replying so I did it on my own. ;o;

I think your references are Ok. At least I could do something with it ^^ .
Were the feathers on her arms ever there? Seems new to me and didnยดt she even had more fingers?

That's good. I try to give as much info I can without going overboard.
Nah, the feathers on the arms are new. However, she always had 3 digits. It's a characteristic of the Kyzen dragons. ;]

Well done! I really like the supporting struts on her tail; that's thoughtful and creative. (I got a degree in Biology, and I always love when people put effort into anatomy) ^_^

I agree! One of my favorite parts of brainstorming for my book is doing the biology/anatomy details for the different races. It's so much fun!
Oh, and you're welcome! ^_^

I would be delighted to design a Kyzen! *is appropriately flattered* ^_^ That's so cool; I've never had an invite to design a char in someone else world before! Let me know when you have a ref sheet uploaded, and I'll go from there. Heh, and I'll probably have questions. Scratch that - I'll definitely have questions.
Would you like to tell me a little more about the Kyzen, to start with? (Now I'm excited; I'm getting into full brainstorm mode.) ^_^
Oh, and would you be interested in taking a character from one of my races? I'm in the process of getting ref sheets up for my races, but a lot of them are sampled here and there in my gallery... it's turned out to be a longer process than I anticipated; over the years my novel/worldscape has picked up races like a dog picks up fleas. O_O

Awesome! I love your enthusiasm! The ref sheet should be up soon. I'd like to have it up within a week, but I still need to complete many sketches and write out more info, revise it, etc.
If you have any questions, just ask away!
Sure. c:
Kyzens are medium sized dragons with a bulky, but still flexible, build. They are colorful and exhibit markings that are sometimes iridescent. Appearances often very greatly from individual to individual, but they still have a particular anatomical structure. They are mostly mammal- and bird-like in appearance and behavior. Kyzens are very social, and live in large groups composed of many families living together as a community. They are intelligent creatures and they live very long lives.
That was just a teaser. For more info, you'd need wait till I finish the ref. ;D
Oh, btw, if you create a Kyzen and I have the inspiration/motivation/time, then your character(s) may appear in a story.
I'd love to make a character of one of your races! 8D You have some really neat creatures! :>
Ha, I know how that is. I often find myself creating all kinds of characters and species and races for my stories. x3

Awesome-sauce! (Sorry it took me so long to get back to you; I went on vacation with my husband - he's a teacher, so he just got out of work for the summer.)
Yeah, I'm really excited to do a Kyzen. I'm waiting on the ref sheet for the physical design, but I have an idea for her character/personality, so I'm psyched. And it would be very cool if she appeared in a story! ^_^
If you want to do a race of mine, I can give you some info on them after we're done with my Kyzen. There's actually a wide selection of races - it's like a character grab bag. ^_~
