That's pretty much the reason I'm selling him - I'm not so keen on complicated designs. I'm also not a fan of gradient patterns, since it's so hard to shade while still establishing the pattern. :\ So even though I like this design and it's still appealing, it's just too much effort to maintain.

There is no point, other than to make the preview more appealing (which is still a valid reason - it needs to stand out from the sea of adoptables). Other than that, it's not necessary. The only reason I wanted to shade was to make the adoptable stand out more before I send it off to more groups, since I wasn't getting any offers.

You have a point. I've been meaning to fix this anyway, by adding some sort of backdrop to make the design pop (the white on white was a mistake made in my haste). I can clean the lines and add some shading while I'm at it.

Eh, it sounds weird, but I would rather see him renamed. I'm not sure, really, maybe I feel that if they rename him, then they've already put thought into developing him, and letting him grow as a character. Not that it matters what they do - I need the cash. ;_;
