**red** I used the same material that was used for all the red parts. Red plexiglass

Yea. I could only last 2 hours at a time with like atleast an hour break in between. I did however have to last about 6 hours atone time for the masquerade, but we found a way for me to sit down. I do not recommend you build a suit this way. It was just my first cosplay that I made and didn't really know the best way to do it.

Um I dont think the way I made it is the best way to do it. It was very heavy and hard to move about.

Really? It doesn't look to heavy but ill take your word for it.
There were people taking foam sheets that were plain white and were cutting them to shape then painting them but it made the suit bend and distort making it look weird. But no one ever says anything about what they used for the under-suit to hold it together.

yea the gun was like 5 pounds and the chest was around 12 pounds. Under it all I wore a back unitard and sewed velcro to it for the pieces to stick to

Talk about some heavy parts but I can understand a 5 pound gun but 12 pounds for the chest plate is heavy. Velcro is a great idea! Most people glue the parts on making it last for less of a time than if they did it the Velcro way.But the gun is one part that you have to use multiple parts so its going to be heavy anyhow. (people always complain about it too)

Very cool! Only thing I see is that her helmet/chest and body armor is a darker gray. Still though, this looks very nice!

XD I see; well, from playing MP1, I think the helmet was black, and so was the chestplate. The stomach armor and the inner leg armor was a dark gray.

That's the concept art, but I mean in the final game...have you not played Metroid Prime?

I have the Metroid Prime Trilogy disk...I distinctly remember the helmet being black, and I'm pretty sure about the chest...I'm not positive, but, I guess I could look up a LP of the game...
