Description
I'm fascinated by the legend/history of Boudica, the ancient British queen who led the Celts against the Romans in several ferocious battles that resulted in heavy losses on both sides. I became quite too into Celtic warrior culture, so I drew this fella. Tried to be as historically accurate as possible. Also, I think he's cute.

It looks like he's being captured by an enemy for some reason. his expression is like he is looking at someone with disdain. Another thing is, from the positioning of his body, it looks as though his arms are being restrained. I suddenly have a larger picture of this, forming in my head, of this boy (he looks like a teenager to me), being kidnapped for slavery by the romans, his hands bound behind his back, by legionaries.

Haha you're not the first person to think he has his hands bound. That wasn't my original intention but it certainly works. Originally i thought he might have two swords in hand and would be just about to run headlong into battle!

I can see that image too. Like maybe on one side is this boy, standing alone, his comrades all dead, and on the other side, Thirty or so Romans still alive and ready to Charge.
I still kind of have the other image in my mind, only it's kind of expanding to be that maybe there are more survivors than him, but they are the prisoners of the Romans.
Would it be alright with you if I were to write a story, referenced on your art here? Could I send you a Note telling you my idea?
