Always was annoying, that bit, since cosplaying is hard enough as it is without having to roleplay as a character one cannot identify with at all with the pressure that one knows she'll go crazy and kill the both of ones' selves if one messes up....

I drew it for elfwood; I've been feelin nostalgic for it lately. But I'll probably have to edit the bat out, and it won't upload there for weeks, so I posted it here, too.

I have a separate version for elfwoof, with the bat taken out and the edges cropped so no white shows. It's also smaller, because I can't remember the specifics but I know they have size limits too. Was 700x700 the max? *tries to remember*

My sister told me recently that I've apaprently been doing it wrong for my whole life, because you're supposed to color really hard until there's no white spots left. But I don't see how that can be a good strategy, because then the paper loses it... what's the word, tooth? It gets flattened down so you can't color over any more, and you can't add or make any changes. I admit that the grainy speckles bug me sometimes, but I always thought of them as just part of the medium.

But if you colour hard, then you loose all the like... ability so shade smoothly... I mean, if you wanna colour so that each area has one colour, and there's no gradients, then, yeah, that's the way to go, but if you're gonna make the colours blend, that's just not right... Grainy speckles schmeckles.

It's not too bad if you plan it out in advance, but it is annoying when you've used photoshop a few times and know how much easier it can be in the right medium.
