Description Acrylic on canvas, 16X20 inches.

A new piece, however it precedes
this one in sequence.

The girls gather near the grave-sites of John Torrington, William Braine, and John Hartnell, and chant the prayer that begins the evening ritual:

Alone, upon the silent sea
Where snow and star do comfort thee
Alone, we pray that safe we'll be
Above the frozen trinity

To which the responder replies:

We were born in the whitest of snows,
We are buried in the blackest of sands...

A happy nuit de lumière bleue to all, and thanks for looking

This is my favourite one of yours I think.

It is just so djkhkhklf in every way. WOW

I respect you a lot also for saying thank you to everyone who appreciates it. That's so rare in artists who are this developed.

Fantastic

The other day I went into a shop to buy myself more watercolour paper and remembered the time you had to go to Walmart to buy canvas at four in the morning. Your paintings are as incredible as ever.

Danny,

I don't know what to call your work. This kind of painting just somehow touches me. And there are things that I wouldn't like but do.

I've got to put this in my favorites for a time so I can get to it quick and study it.

Your style is first rate.

From the look of things, I fear the girls may have stumbled upon some of the tins of food left over from that ill fated expedition But anyway, this is such an unusual subject..fantastic even..and yet coming from you, it doesn't seem unusual at all. In fact, it fits a pattern..one that demonstrates a great sense of the human condition. I've told many people I know about your painting of Bach's fourth son..and I'll tell just as many about this one. Paint on my friend, paint on! Mark
