Playing with contrasts: bright red and less saturated green, yellow stars on blue clouds -- clouds being random vs. the order in the room itself which is enhanced by a checkered floor which in turn contrasts with the red, softly curved couch... I'm sure there's more in there if you look for it
I've got my very own interpretation of what this image signifies, but I would like to hear yours first

I love this room. I told everyone that when I got an apartment I was going to hang stars from the ceiling and have a checkered floor. Of course I plan on having brick walls so I'm not sure how it would look together but I'll love it all the same!

this is what I'm using for inspiration for a piece I want to do.

I used photos of real clouds and set them to soft light. I used layer masks and the gradient tool to blend the edges softly and I used the colorize option on the hue/saturation adjustments to match their colour to the background better. I hope this helps
