Beautiful piece, I love the rich dark, blues, greens and blacks, all the shadows. The birds pose, claw draping caressing the young man. His dark feathery cloak, beautiful shads and colors. His striped bandanna hat adds an interesting texture/pattern contrast. <3 His face just looks tad dirty add to a barbaric/bestial feel to his his innocent boyish features. I love his cool stone like eyes, and the birds glowing fire red. both are so piercing.
They seem to be two and the same entity. Both moving as one, and staring intently off into the distance.
