I wonder if France would be nice and willling enough to transfer/sell their remaining 300 vehicles to my country as a welcoming present when we join the EU... I mean... we do need some firepower and these are cheaper to maintain than tanksas well as more versitale and in our geographic terrain even deadlier.

We called it the Eland. A good friend of mine served in these. We had some small guns, but also a 90mm version. We called them "Noddy Cars"!

I didn't serve in armoured cars, but a good friend did. I never heard of that happening, but they did occasionally roll the vehicle (young crazy guys!)
