Description
A little pride of Eurasian cave lions(Panthera leo spelaea) are trying to bring down a young,yet robust woolly rhino(Coelodonta antiquitatis).Even today,African Lions are known to attack big animals like hippos and elephants when they starve,specially in dry seasons.
Created by Photoshop CS6 and Artrage studio pro and Bamboo Wacom pen&touch in approximately 15 hours.

You know, its funny...I watch a lot of documentaries about lions, and I've never seen lions even attempt to take down a rhino...at least none that I can remember...

Thanks for the comment. The cave lions were bigger and heavier than modern African lions.(about 30%) and this could be an advantage for them.
Actually Nobody can tell confidently that lions don't attack rhinos at all.I think I've read a few reports on it, and the lions do attack hippos and elephant ,even rhino calves.
On the other hand,this isn't some documentary and I used my imagination to create a scene that "might" be possible.

If they can take down an elephant, then they can take down a rhino...And even though I have never seen them do it myself, I imagine it would look just like your art piece here....except with more lions
