- Honestly a shit ton of old items, be they magical or ordinary. Despite they don't seem like it, Melech is a hoarder.
■ Powers:
What powers Melech possesses is a bit of a mystery to most, but it is known that they are a rather powerful witch. They seem to have a knack for protective and transmutating spells. They're known to be able to make themselves invisible, change form, and work to both dismantle and create protective charms. Most importantly their knowledge on magical theory and its knick-knacks is top-notch, as Melech is old enough to have seen most tricks in the book in action. Knows a lot about magic, creatures and monsters from around the world.
Seems to be regenerating ever so slowly..
■ Personality:
+ Daring, Adventurous, Not easily shaken/disturbed, Polite, Brave
- Capricious, Superiority-complex, Reckless, Power-hungry, Insatiable
Melech is nothing short of daring. Admittedly, when you cheat several demons at once, steal sacred items and hunt magical creatures, you have to be rather gutsy and, in a way, brave. They have a very adventurous streak to them and they’re always up for or up to something. Melech is more often than not very polite and has an acute sense for protocols and rituals. Startling, scaring or disrupting them takes a great deal of work.
However, Melech’s tends to be capricious, and recklessness is usually a part of the plan. This has caused them a great deal of pain and trouble, which they have learned nothing from. Their hunger for knowledge and power is a dangerous tool to wield, and it’s nigh insatiable. They tend to see themselves as superior to other, less daring and experienced individuals.

■ Background:
Melech is old, old in such a sense that they cannot remember the names of their family members, their country of origin or even their childhood name. Names, faces and places have become muddled in their mind, forming a randomized timeline collection of memories from times and places they cannot pinpoint.
What they do remember is the fear of death. The fear of normality. It eventually drove Melech on to the unsacred, heretic path of a witch. They forged a contract with a demon. At first, it felt like a lot of power, but eventually Melech came to notice that it wasn’t enough. It would never be enough.
Melech grew unhappy being but a mere a servant. They broke out of the contract they had forged through means unknown, and instead became a rogue witch of sorts. They went on to forge numerous contracts which they then slithered out of, in addition to stealing magical items, killing monsters, breaking into sacred groves, and performing unsacred rituals... Over the years, Melech made a lot of people, humans and monsters alike, angry. But to him it was worth both the power and the thrill of it. Despite having been caught a few times over, they have managed to slither out of it (for now ), most often thanks to sheer luck they seem to have abundance of.
And now they’ve come to Indieville. To hustle even more, or to spend their calmer retirement days? That’s for you to find out.
