Description Hey guys this is a trade pic I did for my new friend

Now I must admit it was abit scarey doing a picture for him because he is such a good artist. so I tried my best. I even added in a background

Also I must point out that I used a ref from the owner to draw the sword. So the sword is his creation also.

Eron is the main Character of a story he is working on. If you like fantasy and sci fi you should check out his work. He is very good. You wont be disappointed.

eheh loved it
the special touch you gave on the sword with the engravings was a nice thing to see

i like his upper body the best really how i envisioned him
now just 2 things
the skin tone is too dark perhaps dunno
and the nose needs to be thinner

You did a good job with this one. The character's hair looks great, there is a decent amount of texture in it too. I like the pose you chose here, angular poses are quite difficult and I praise you for a job well done on the evenness of his anatomy. There's a lot of fine detail in the sword, though the hilt of the sword seems to be slightly out of alignment. The background and character blend together very well, which is also important.

I actually stepped back from this pic to do something, and as I was walking back towards it, from a distance it looked like a photograph!

I like the background in this one. I REALLY like it, especially the pillars. You should paint more backgrounds And I like how you've blended everything to actually look like it belongs to the same picture, it's the thing that was a bit problematic in some of the older ones. Yeah, now we're talking, keep it up like this
You know what, you could add a bit of very pale colour at the very edge of the hand that's in the light (a little like lineart) or otherwise remove that area of flat colour there (the hand holding the hilt) to make it perfect.

thanx buddy. I am trying realy hard to improve on making metal. Metal reflects colour and sometimes I struggle to get it right. Thanx for your encouraging comment too I enjoyed doing this pic

Ohh, hey. Come on, you're a great artist, hun; more than anything, it's the thought that counts and at least you did try something that was scary to you.
And I must say, I love this one a lot. That background is so interesting; for some reason, moutains in backgrounds have always fascinated me. And the broken pillar is really cool.
I like the intensity of his expression and the pose; but what I love most about this is how much time and effort you put into the sword. C: You're amazing! Keep going.
