Description
this is my favorite mode of transportation.

cardboard courtesy of my calc teacher. She just got in her shipment of AB workbooks and I called dibs on the nice cardboard panels they were packaged with.

gouache on cardboard (if you haven't guessed already) with pen and some marker for the lower gradient. I painted straight onto the cardboard then cut off the top layer of paper exposing the corrugated layer. I drew the balloon on the cardboard going the other way but it turned out that worked to my advantage. The two pieces are connected with a piece of thin wire and there is real string since there is no way I was going to be able to preserve the painted string on the cardboard when I cut it away.
