If one considered serenity and calmness to be water's only attributes, she'd he the first to prove to you otherwise. Gali is the definition of a brawler and fights like the element she personifies -- a deluge broken by short calms as she gathers herself to unleash the next storm. She does, like water, still have a talent for tenderness, but has a tendency to boil over when caught between the fire and ice of Tahu and Kopaka. Heat stroke is also an issue for her.Guess who subliminally learned how to draw bubbles from Spongebob? I legitimately am sorry about this one taking the month it did -- I almost thought I wouldn't ever get it done when I started getting carried away with other stuff. But here she is! Finally! All 6 are finally together...
I wonder what's next? I know I'm not done yet.

Also, I guess Gali is the main reason I donΒ΄t have a problem writing strong female characters.
I mean, the first ever female character IΒ΄ve seen in fiction has got to be her in Mask of Light. And she was just part of the team. Noone made fun of her because she was a girl (yeah, she and Tahu had some friendly banter based on their elements, but her being a girl was never the topic), she ran over molten rock and jumped onto a wall supposed to keep stuff out like it was nothing, and she was just awesome.
Same with Sophie Casterwill from the cartoon Huntik: Secrets and Seekers, btw.

The Toa of Water breathed a sigh of relief. Gali and her brother Toa had finally defeated the Bahrag. They had trapped the Queens in a Toa Seal - a prison of crystalline Protodermis. Suddenly, the six Toa Mata fell into pits that opened at their feet. Within the pits was Energized Protodermis. Gali gasped at its touch. 'Such power!' she marveled. Her golden Kaukau was torn away from her face and she held her breath. She could feel her body changing. She was growing in size and strength, her elemental Water becoming more potent. Her mask returned, but it wasn't the same. Neither, she realized, were her Water Hooks. They were now axes. She emerged from the pool and was greeted by the sight of her brothers, now the same as her - powerful, strong and - dare she believe? - unstoppable. They had become the Toa Nuva. Heroes of Mata Nui.

Gali is one of the best of your arts. Except Kopaka. I hope Takanuva will be as cool as he is.
