wasnt that yami marik when he took over and marik was like "oh no i have to stop him wah" even if it was i still see marik in a prett sissy light, mainly because of his out fit, hair and ygotas

Well even when he wasn't overtaken by the Spirit of the Rod he was pretty messed up. It's a tell tale sign of channelling a Millenium Spirit when your hair goes anime crazy and your eyes and outfit change slightly- this didn't happen to Marik until the finals of the Battle City Tournement.
So basically, it means he was doing it of his own free will, and not form what Melvin was makign him do.
