PRINT AVAILABLERemember how I promised that that drawing of Ataraxe bucking the snow would turn into a real artwork? Well, it took a year, and it's not Ataraxe anymore... But here it is!
Agonizing over titles suck, they always come out too pretentious or too simple, but today I went with simple.
I had great fun painting the mountains!

Ooh I can't decide which I adore more- the gorgeous spread of mountains and leagues upon leagues of virgin snow or the unique and well-executed pose of the foreground unicorn.

The way you color is amazing, the horses look real and their fur shines. The mane and tail are really beautiful AND you also did a great job on the background. I just have to add it to my favourites!

I love the sense of movement taken across the piece by the unicorns. Their dynamic lines lead the eye well. The unicorn in the foreground is nicely complemented by the one in the background, adding to the motion of the picture and taking your eye nicely from the foreground to the background. The high contrast also brings the viewer's attention the what is most important in the image. Excellent work.

The one in the front is amazing, but the one in the back bothers me, and I think its because of the 2D view of it..it kind of looks like it was pasted on and doesnt quite match the artistic quality of the front unicorn. I think it would look more professional if the back unicorn were not there.
Regardless, its still a very impressive painting!
