Description
This is my painting for Challenge #10 Ponka.

I used Chinese water colours on A4 very inexpensive 300gms paper.
This is painting is no.4 out of 5 attempts!!

Originally on the photo on the background aren't red colour, but in my opinion, I'm happy you use it because it creates a cool contrast with Ponka's colour

Oh, you really put a lot of effort trying so many times! I really admire your decication to that! Cats are so hard to draw 
But you did great work here! First you wasn't afraid to interpretate her instead of trying to depict her exactly like on photo. You created your own background you wanted to show her better and decided to frame it. I like how you made her starps on fur and fur at all, it's so soft

Yes I am very happy that I joined this group. It is very good with nice people too. It certainly motivates me and gets my mind in a creative state. It is exactly what I need to learn and practice.
I wasn't sure whether we had to replicate the reference photos or not. I enjoyed the difficulty of the challenge ..for me anyway. I've never painted anything like this before!!
