This is very beautiful, she looks thoughtful, slightly sad , and yet inwardly happy , as though pondering  the brief beauty and life of flowers before they are taken by frost , and happy in the knowledge that Spring will come again , and that it will not always be dark days and that life is eternal in the small seeds buried under the earth .
