Description this is another Panorama taken at Fairy Glen in Betws-Y-Coed, Wales , the panorama is made up of 96 Images to make a print big, I wanted 40" wide 60" high at 300DPI but the lightness of the sky blew the detail out of the trees so I had to crop the top off

the size I'm going for is 40"x40"

to show detail this is the leaf on the rock at bottom middle at 100% ( not resized just cropped ) [link]

There's no words to describe this.
The colors are so amazing.
The water looks so peaceful...

the green thing in the middle is that light reflecting? It looks like it's a bad manip don't know what it is. Anyway the picture is very nice I really like it. The slow shutter is perfect for this. It's full of details awesome work!.

do you mean the virtical green streak in the water center left? if so yeah it's a reflection, I see what you mean though it does look like a big mistake but I checked on the original image and it's just a reflection, if you look at the shape of it and the shape of the opening above it matches very closely... chears for asking, my eyes have overlooked mistakes before

Are you going to make it a print here on dA? It's just stunning. If you did have it up for print sale, I'm afraid I'd be out 60+ bucks -______-

chears for the request, I don't submit anymore prints though as I have had too many problems with the DA print service... a month to turn up, poor quality prints including banding on one or them etc, I think out of 10 prints I have ordered from DA only 1 or 2 have truly been good and I don't want it happening to anyone else with one of my prints

maybe there is another way around. Can't you set up your own website? I think a lot of people would buy huge prints like that from you. Perhaps use some paybal or what ever it's called.

that is one thing I have been thinking of, I just havn't got my act together yet in researching the best way to ship the prints, I suppose the best way is to wait for an order then upload the image to a firm like peak imaging [link] who will print it off and hopefully send it to the buyers address... there's a lot of questions to ask though, if my print sales do take off I could buy a Large format printer like the Epson Stylus Pro 9800 ( prints upto 44" ) and print them myself but thats only 2 options to sell them other than 50% services.

chears for the suggestion

holy f-ing crap ..... i would love to see the real thing
except i think it would look to me like a poster in an airport advertising such and such a place
or one of those wall-sized wallpaper things that people used to have in their basements
thats kinda queer the name
theres a place not far from here called "Fairy Glen"; they had a curling rink and thats where i learned to curl when i was a kid

snow is so over-rated when you're facing six months of the stuff uninterrupted

chears for the comment, I'm definatly going back there in mid march when the water rages down harder, off frame on the right there's part of a tree perched on top of a boulder 7 foot up... I don't even have to imagine how it got there

it's a pity I couldn't add the top half of the image as this doesn't give the idea of the hight of the gorge, the top is around 30 foot above where I was standing

To be honest, I'm not reeling in my seat over the actual image, but kudos on the excution man!

yeah it would have been a lot better if I could have added the top onto it if it wasn't blown out with the sky , that though would have been around 160 images
