Michael Meyers is holding his knife wrong. The way you have it is authentic, but what I mean is movie people always hold knives wrong when they use a reverse grip. The sharp edge should face outward, not inward.

For horror Carpenter knows terror! And that's a fact.
And Snake Plissken is an anti hero for the ages.

Really awesome.
John Carpenter was also in a 1993 movie that he directed and starred in called "Body Bags".

Great homage to John Carpenter! He has to be one of my favourtie directors ever. Set aside the shity movie he did (Ghost of mars), you can't forget that he did Escape from New York, Big Trouble in Little China, one of the best remakes ever; The Thing. And he also made Halloween, which really gave birth to the slasher era. Nice job man

This guy sure is a good director, although I have to admit, that his greatest time was from 1978 to 1982. Before and after that his movies seem kinda trashy to me.

I have been on a Carpenter kick here lately so it's nice to see this. I did some sketch cards of Prince of Darkness, and I had never seen it. I went and picked up the DVD's for the Thing, Prince, and They Live...pretty good. Stll my favorites are Escape NY and Big Trouble. Fun director and makes for a cool collage...

Yeah, he definitely had a fun selection of films to choose from. Sometimes you just don't register how many great films a director has actually made. My favorites would be Halloween, Escape from New York, The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China and In the Mouth of Madness. I also really loved Cigarette Burns because it was just totally unexpected from Carpenter--just seemed like the darkest thing he's ever done.
