en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thirteen… they are two of the "four beggars" in the traditional Provencal 13 desserts representing Christ and the 12 apostels...

Well, well, well! I had to reach for a bag of roasted almonds rolled in chocolate and sugar when I saw this. Simply because we lack these delicacies here.
Walnut-stuffed figs and dates, as well as date paste and pistachios, can sustain the health and nutritional needs of even the hardest working man. But all these are rather to difficult to come by here. Unless you go to a Libanese restaurant. There, it's standard for dessert.
But should the unthinkable be true - meaning you've never been to a Libanese restaurant - then I strongly recommend that you do that as soon as belly-needs must be tended on. Lebanese food is most delicious, be it the vegetarian variety or the carnivores corner. There must be plenty of such places in Dubai. And surely a lot cheaper than here, where you have to trade in wife, kids and house in order to partake.
Damn! These goodies will rob me of my sleep!

Don't let something that which can be easily remedied, rob you of your sleep, my friend.
You live in Switzerland; this much I know. How about shooting me a note with your home address on it?
