Description
The Crow. Though it came out in 1994, it was a movie I have loved since the first time I saw it. But over the years, the movie, and some of the lessons in it, have taken on very different meanings. When I saw it the first time, it was mainly because of the tragedy that took Brandon Lee, like his father, taken much too young in life. Then a few years later, in 2000, my father passed away. I watched the movie a few times, and during it, two quotes really kind of hit home to me, and helped me cope with everything I was thinking at the time, and also how to deal with life in general.Eric: Little things used to mean so much to Shelley. I used to think they were kind of trivial, believe me nothing is trivial.
Sara: If the people we love are taken from us, the way they live on is to never stop loving them.Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever....
So, this is my tribute to a movie, that though dark and dreary at times, really has lessons laying under the surface, that more people should hear.

Everything about this picture looks amazing. It's one of those films that could just be killing the entire cast, but it's far from it. The meanings behind it, and in turn this picture, are beautiful.
(Although on a daft note, my favourite aesthetic part of this film is Eric's 'immortal' makeup

You mean Sara..that's so cool. My Uncle was working on a different movie (he's a visual effects artist) in NC when the whole thing happened down there. (That's really the only story I have for this movie...he's worked on a whole bunch of others though..lol.)

she did lots of drugs and her mom spent all her movie money on crack. but shes a normal lady now. visual effects artist, that sounds so neat. workin on movie set stuffs. cant be brandon lee died so stupidly.

eric draven was the crow of the tv-series. in the movies the crow had another name.
I remember eric was played by marc dacascos, but the guy on the drawing don't look like him

Actually, the TV Series, and the other "Crow" movies came out after Brandon Lee played the title character in the first movie "The Crow." He was tragically killed during production of the movie, and it delayed the opening while they filled in some spots to complete it.

I don't know which movie number I watched. it was with a dad and his son killed by a gang.

That sounds like "The Crow: City of Angels" which was the second one...(Crow played by something Perez I think..don't know didn't look it up...but I think that's his last name) There was also one with Kirsten Dunst and Ed Furlong I think too...and of course the TV series, featuring the guy that I think is on "Iron Chef" now, but don't quote me on that.
