Description Hope you guys like this new one. Actual work time was not toooo long this time, but I'm so busy lately that I still had to spread it out over two weeks or more.
I studied bellbrook's clouds a lot for this one, love his work and I always wanted to give his approach a try.

Anyways, print will be up tomorrow or so. Let me know what you think, as usual

I can definitely see the inspiration in the clouds. I think you did a fairly good job with the execution there too. If you hadn't mentioned it though I feel like I would have felt more free to examine the rest of the painting. As it was, I kept glancing back up at the sky to make sure it was still there and looked like I expected it to look. Great job with the water, as usual. I really feel that you have a particular talent for shore scenes. The rock formations as well are very well done, especially as they fade into the distance. The way they blend back into the sky gives this a wonderful sense of depth that is essential when drawing the ocean.

As far as your little winged creations go, I feel a bit as though the one on the far right is riding an entirely different wind current than the others. Other than that, I like them and definitely think they set the scene for the painting wonderfully.

As always, nicely done!

Okay, first off, I must say that my first thought was Jurassic Park when I first saw it ^^

Now the Vision is pretty good, you can see what's going on in the distance, but I think there's too much of the "foggy" effect. It needs some more colour, bright-ish shades of green, and the clouds could use some more work.

Originality, I can't really say. This IS extremely well done, and I assume you may have gotten the title, and inspiration for this piece from Jurassic Park, as I said above that it reminds me of it. It seems as though you also used a reference of a place like this..I'm not sure, so I can't really say.

Techinique. Again, it can use some brightening up. It looks dreary, and the clouds (sorry to call out on this again) need work. But you did do really, really well on this painting! It's really good, and better than I could ever do, so I'll stop nagging you e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Lick)"/>

Impact is not very effective on my part, however, it does make me wonder if there's dinosaurs on that place O_O; The birds also show a sign of death in my opinion, as does the drearyness of the clouds, fog, and overall general colour palette.

My critique's bottom line? Excellent job. And keep up the good work!

Absolutely stunning, this piece inspired me to do more environment concepts. It's been my wallpaper for quite some time now!

The pterodactyls soaring about help capture the "Lost" element quite effectively.Β

To me you are the artist who can paint time/space into a canvas...
I can feel galaxies spinning slowly in space across eons while we evolve across times so immense that time itself evaporates into a sense of wondrous infinity with each heart-beat and every-breath...!!
I love your universe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are a great creator!!!!

Holy wow. Very atmospheric, I approve of the strong sense of perspective, it adds to the hugeness of the land before us. Lost continents are one of my favorite myths; I've got one as the basis of a story I've been cooking.

Also +10 points for the pterosaurs.

One thing, I sholdtell about: something with clouds. For my opinion - they are... a bit unreal. They do not like other on the picture. Background clouds are good, but foreground are so.
Whatever, it's really amazing art!

Thanks a bunch =] The clouds are pretty much a study of dorje bellbrook's work, which I really love, so they are done this way on purpose. I felt like it fits okay with the landscape, giving it a bit more focus. But I can see what you mean when you say that they look different from the rest, that is right
